Dota 2 voice coach
Dota 2 voice coach: hear the call, keep your eyes on the game
In a fight your eyes are on the fight. Highground says the call out loud instead of asking you to read a sidebar: one short line, at the moment it matters, in your ear while you play Dota 2.
Free to start. Windows 10 and 11, from the Microsoft Store. The voice speaks English.
What the voice coach sounds like
Example calls, in the words the coach really says:
Lina left mid. Anti-Mage left top.
Laning, 8:12: two enemies left their lanes while you farmed alone on their side.
Back off. Two of us, three of them. Ultimate down, 16 seconds.
Fights, 46:40: a fight turning against you.
Item plan. Black King Bar. Winning pros on this hero against this lineup included it in their build.
Draft: when the picks lock.
Calls are short on purpose: danger and fights, items and draft, rune and stack timers, Roshan, the lane brief.
Short, and only when it matters
- You choose how much it says. Everything, Full voice (the default), Important only or Muted.
- Every group can be switched off on its own. Danger, Fights, Items & draft, Runes, Stacks, Macro & objectives and Post-game. A switched-off group stops talking, but its advice stays on the HUD and in the app.
- The words are fixed. It is not a chatbot and nothing is rewritten on the way to your ears: every narrator reads the same approved lines, only the voice changes.
- You never miss a call. If a line is not in the narrator's pack yet, Windows speech says it at once.
Narrators
Several narrators plus the Windows voice. You can play a sample of each in the app before you pick one. Free includes the Heart narrator; every narrator voice comes with Plus.
The same call on your HUD, your app and your stream
- In-game HUD (on by default): win chance, the fight read, the coach's latest call, enemy cooldowns under the top bar, the danger column above the minimap and your item suggestions. It never takes focus and clicks pass through it. Ctrl+Alt+H hides it.
- The app, on a second screen: the call and the reasons, your danger for the next 30 seconds, win chance, the map, timers and your item plan.
- Your stream: one OBS browser source shows every call as the coach says it. Set it up for OBS.

- Install the app from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 or 11 and paste the key.
- Play. Launch Dota 2; the coach speaks from your first game.
Questions
Can I turn the voice off or make it quieter?
Yes. The Voice on button in the app's top bar silences everything at once. How much it says has four levels: Everything, Full voice (default), Important only or Muted. Every group of calls can also be switched off on its own; a switched-off group stops talking, but its advice stays on the HUD.
Is the voice a recording or computer speech?
Narrator lines come from a downloaded, checked voice pack. When a line is not in the pack yet, or the pack is still downloading, Windows speech says it at once so you never miss a call. The narrator's own recording is prepared in the background and used next time.
Is the voice coach on in every game of the free plan?
Free coaches your first 3 games fully, then 1 game every day. Your other games get a basic review afterwards, with no live calls. Plus coaches every game.
Which language does the voice coach speak?
English today. The Windows app and Coach Mode are English too; this website is also available in Russian, Czech, Slovak, Polish and Turkish.
Can I get banned for using it?
